Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AlarmMe mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are / how to contact us

AlarmMe (“we”, “us”, “our”)

Contact email: alarmme.contact@gmail.com

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum legal age in your country to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Account and security

Some features may require creating an account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. The Service

AlarmMe provides alarm, reminder, and notification features. Some features may require device permissions (such as notifications and “Display over other apps” / overlay). You can enable or disable permissions in your device settings; certain features may not work without them.

We may update, change, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will try to provide reasonable notice for material changes when practical.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and free trials

AlarmMe offers auto-renewing subscriptions, including monthly and yearly plans (each a “Subscription”).

A. How subscriptions work

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You can manage and cancel your Subscription through the platform where you purchased it (for example, Apple App Store or Google Play).
  • Deleting the app does not cancel your Subscription.

B. Pricing and taxes

Subscription prices are displayed in the app and/or the store at the time of purchase and may vary by region. Applicable taxes may be added where required.

C. Free trials and promotional offers (if offered)

If a free trial or promotional offer is available, it will be disclosed at sign-up.

  • Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged when the trial period ends and your Subscription will begin.
  • We may modify or end trials/offers at any time to the extent allowed by law.

D. Refunds

Payments and refunds are handled by the store/platform through which you purchased the Subscription.

  • If you purchased through Apple, refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.
  • If you purchased through Google Play, refunds are handled by Google under Google’s policies.

Where required by law, you may have additional refund rights.

6. User content (if applicable)

If the Service allows you to submit content (such as feedback, support messages, or attachments), you retain your rights to that content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it solely to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Service and to respond to you.

Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others’ rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in a way that violates any law or regulation.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where prohibited by law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, systems, or security measures.
  • Abuse, spam, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or data.

8. Intellectual property

The Service (including the app, branding, UI, and all related materials) is owned by AlarmMe or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy governs with respect to personal data.

10. Third-party services

The Service may interact with third-party services (for example, app stores, payment processors, analytics, or device OS services). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • AlarmMe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if greater, the minimum amount required by law).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if we must do so to comply with law or protect the Service and users.

If your access is terminated, these Terms sections that by their nature should survive will survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute-related terms).

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where you reside, unless local law requires a different governing law for consumer agreements. If you are a business user, the governing law and venue may be the place where AlarmMe is established.

16. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
